About
The Anomaly File covers unexplained phenomena, archaeological discoveries and the open questions science has not yet closed.
We find these subjects genuinely fascinating — and we think fascination is best served by honesty. We report what was claimed, who claimed it, and what the evidence actually shows.
How we work
Each article summarises reporting by established news organisations, researchers and institutions. Every story links to its original source. We attribute extraordinary claims to the people making them, we say plainly when evidence is thin, and we mention conventional explanations where they exist.
Articles are reviewed by a human editor before publication.
What we do not publish
We do not publish medical misinformation, political conspiracy theories, or claims that target individuals or groups. Curiosity is not an excuse for harm.
